BOARD OF TRUSTEE TERMS ENDING

For the November 2015 elections the Pioneer Union School District will have two (2) trustee terms ending.  Incumbents may or may not decide to be candidates.  Trustee's are elected for a four-year term.  Candidates for the positions may obtain candidacy papers from the El Dorado County Elections Department at 2850 Fairlane Court, Building C, Placerville.  The filing period is from July 13, 2015 until August 7, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. If you have any questions please contact Colleen Rothballer at 620-3556.

The Pioneer Union School District was founded in 1958 through the unification of:

  • Mountain School, Est 1858
  • Mt. Aukum School, Est 1860
  • River School, Est 1878
  • Fair Play School, Est. 1890
  • Willow School, Est 1904

7th GRADE IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS


All students entering 7th grade for the 2015-2016 school year will need proof of the Tdap booster shot  (tetnus, diphtheria, pertussis) before they will be allowed to start school.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

PIONEER STATE PRESCHOOL

The El Dorado County Office of Education Child Development Programs & the Pioneer Union School District will be providing State Preschool on the Pioneer Campus.  The Program is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 program year.  Children turning 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2015 may be eligible for preschool services. 

 

When enrolling your child.....

Please bring the following documentation with you:

-Income Verification (one full month worth of income dated after April 15th)

-Birth Certificates for all children in the family

-Medi-Cal Card (or other proof of medical insurance)

-Up-to-date Immunization Records

-Social Security Card/Number

-Single Parent Verification (if applicable, divorce document, rental agreement, etc.)

A complete application requires all of the above documentation.
